OCT 12 & 13 YOGA FOR SERVICE FESTIVAL

Get ready for a fun weekend exploring new dimensions in your yoga practice for just $49--- all for the benefit of a GREAT cause and right here in Wasatch County! Give yourself a chance to LOVE, GIVE & SERVE with a mere $49 registration fee that includes all Festival classes and workshops on Friday, October 12: 6:00 - 8:30 pm AND Saturday, October 13: 9:00 - 4:30 pm! The YOGA FOR SERVICE FESTIVAL features two days of yoga classes and workshops for all levels and interests taught by our valley's leading instructors. These women and men have volunteered their time to help you learn and grow your practice and self-awareness. You'll get to experience a virtual SHOWCASE of our valley's yoga instructors representing their studios, fitness centers, meditation approaches, natural service providers, yoga products and so much more. Sample their teaching styles and a variety of wonderful approaches to bring yoga into your life. The YOGA FOR SERVICE FESTIVAL is the perfect event to attend whether you are brand new to yoga and curious to know more, or have been practicing for years! ALL levels of practitioners are welcome... just bring a yoga mat, a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes that let you move with us. Attendance is limited to the first 100 people to register---so don't delay! At just $49 for hours of instruction, new friends, a GREAT cause and FUN...make sure you sign up now!     "Healing Hunger Here!" The best part is that the proceeds of this incredible gathering will be given to help eliminate HUNGER among our valley's students and families. Proceeds will go to the WASATCH SCHOOL DISTRICT FOOD PANTRY for the new hunger relief food program managed BY students, FOR students. The Wasatch Community Foundation and Wasatch Community Service Alliance have supported our efforts to bring this exciting new event to you. Were you aware that the "weekend backpack" food program previously available to Wasatch County students needing hunger relief on the weekends, is no longer being provided? It is UP TO US TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE and insure that our fellow citizens have food to nourish themselves! You can help!! Your paid registration will help us raise the much-needed money for the Caring Closet and fill the Festival with our valley's caring community of yogis. Please note the option to add a little something extra by way of an additional donation earmarked for the CARING CLOSET program!   SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Bring your yoga mat and get ready to discover something NEW in your yoga practice! The festival kicks off promptly at 6:00 pm Friday evening, October 12 with two, yoga asana practices. Then come back Saturday morning, October 13 to explore our FESTIVAL MARKETPLACE featuring local products and services to enhance your health. A fabulous variety of YOGA CLASSES and WORKSHOPS will be offered throughout the day starting promptly at 9:00 am and concluding at 4:30 pm. We even have a special INDIAN BUFFET LUNCH you can purchase (extra fee) to warm your tummy with a healthy, tasty lunch during our 12 - 1 pm break. These include, but are not limited to sprains, pulled muscles and broken bones. Participation in the Yoga for Service Festival indicates the acceptance of such risks. Any of the instructors, class assistants, the Yoga for Service Festival organizer, its employees and independent contractors assume no responsibility for personal injury or property lost at Utah Valley University during the Yoga for Service Festival. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY WAIVER: Any adult or child participating in the Yoga for Service Festival gives permission to the photographer, videographer or Festival organizer to use or publish photographs or videos of them as a participant (with any retouching or alteration without restriction) at the Yoga for Service Festival. These images may be used for editorial trade, future event advertising and such other business purpose in any manner and medium.
